The Nitecore i8 features eight independently controlled charging slots. It automatically detects the power levels of the inserted batteries, selecting the optimal voltage and charging mode for each. Safety is paramount with the i8, which includes reverse polarity protection and short circuit protection. If an issue is detected, a red indicator above the corresponding bay will flash to alert you.

Thanks to its Active Current Distribution (ACD) technology, the i8 intelligently allocates power among the eight slots to maximise charging efficiency and speed. This means that as soon as a battery approaches full charge, the i8 shifts some of its output to other slots to optimise the overall charging process. The 18650 charger supports varying output currents, with capacities including 1.5A across two bays, 1A across four bays, 0.75A across four bays, and 0.5A across all eight bays.

Despite doubling the number of bays compared to the Intellicharger i4, the Nitecore i8 maintains simplicity in its operation. Inserting batteries is straightforward: a red indicator lights up to show charging is in progress and switches to green once charging is complete. There’s no need to navigate complicated menus, as the i8 does all the work for you.

Constructed from flame retardant and fire-resistant PC materials and designed with a unique grill for faster heat dissipation, the i8 ensures a safe, reliable, and hassle-free charging experience. It is certified by RoHS, CE, FCC, and CEC.

Operating Instructions:

• Power Connection: Connect one end of the power cord or car charger adapter to the charger’s input and the other to a wall outlet.
• Inserting Batteries: Place batteries into any of the 8 slots. The i8 will activate automatically and begin charging. A red indicator signifies charging, turning green upon completion.

 Please Note: For optimal charging, it is recommended to place batteries of similar capacity on the same side. Small capacity batteries, those under 60mm in length, will be charged at a slower rate of 500mA.

Each Nitecore i8 Intellicharger comes with a 3-pin UK plug, ensuring it’s ready for use right out of the box.
